It's been nearly two full years since I've been in this space. I hadn't felt much like visiting but it's suddenly become appealing again.

This year I've set myself one real goal (other than enjoying time with my new little family): spend a bit of energy doodling, drawing and painting. I'm embarrassed to say that it's been almost 6 years since I've picked up a paint brush with any real intention. I think I'll start out slow, with a pen and some paper, but I hope to use this space to encourage more art. Fingers crossed....it's surprisingly intimidating.
