feeling the end of summer and the coming of fall. two images from the past year that have been living on my wall for the last couple of months. (right image from elle decoration. can't remember where i found the left image)

i've been busy obsessing over knitting these past few days. the weather is starting to change and i'm already thinking of cozy fires, big cups of tea and sweaters...
i've been knitting for a few years now but i've never ventured out from the most basic of stitches. but i've been bored with myself as of late and pretty yarn can only take you so far. i was galvanized to venture in to the terrifying territory of patterns by this lovely site and her claim that she's just a beginner as well (really??).
